Fit was just right. Boots

Fit was just right. Boots were comfortable. Seems that very little break-in is needed. I did change out the strings to a set that is a little smaller in diameter due to the ones that came with the boot were too big for the hooks.

This is my second pair

This is my second pair of Danner Recurve boots (I have owned dozens of different Danners over 30+ years). They are one of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and I would have given five stars. My only complaint is that after two seasons, the first pair is no longer waterproof. I continue to wear that pair when hunting or hiking in a dry environment and bought this second pair when they recently went on sale. Maybe it’s an unreasonable expectation, but for a couple of hundred bucks, I expect the Danner Dry to last longer than it did. The rest of the boot is in great shape. Hope the waterproofing in the new pair will last longer.
