This is my first pair of Danner boots. I bought them hoping they are truly as lightweight as they are advertised. I put them on my hanging scale as soon as I received them and a single 800g thinsulate size 14 EE boot weighs 1 lb 12 1/4 oz. That is crazy lightweight. The boots that this pair are replacing run 2 lbs 9 1/2 oz per boot. I will take that any day. I certainly hope they work as well as the old ones in keeping my feet warm and dry.

Fantastic boot

I hunt grouse and needed a winter boot. These are unbelievably light and allow me to be agile navigating clear cut through thick woods and snow. Hunted in 8 degree weather today and my feet were perfect. I highly recommend these.

Warm Feet in SD in January

I love Danner boots. Every pair I have bought feels like wearing sneakers. Bought these for late pheasant hunt In SD. Temps from 4 degrees with highest on four day hunt At 19 degrees. I didn’t even think about wind chill. Countless miles in countless fields from corn husks to cat tails over my head. These boots were light, warm, and comfy. Didn’t even take them off when back at lodge. Only time I had hint of cold toes was sitting in truck looking for the next field. Once I got moving again didn’t even think about my feet. With wool socks and these boots you can be sure you will stay warm and your feet will never enter your mind.
