Was diappointed with the height

Was diappointed with the height of the boot. It is 8 inches from the floor to top of boot. I am uses to that measurement being made from the top of the sole to top of boot. As I wear a leg brace, the boot top helps keep the brace in place as you move around thru the day. The boot is not able to assit with this. This is my only issue with the boots. Over all, a good boot.
