Sturdy, well-made boots. Radicals have been around for a long time so they should last as long as the soles anyway. I always buy Danners, usually when they are on sale. Great boots and EE widths. What's not to like?

I am an outdoor Photographer: landscapes, waterfalls, and nature (also some scuba underwater photography); with some hiking as a prerequisite. I have the Danner 453 & the Explorer brands/models; each with their own pros and cons, and both of which I am still using. Bought the Radical 452 (on sale) as a backup/replacement for the 453 (oldest pair); have not had a chance to break-in as yet, but fit is the same as the 453.
