Perfect boot

Really an outstanding boot. This is my third pair. I bought the last one in 2009 so it lasted 14 years. I hike 2-3 miles per day in them. They're comfortable and the EE fits my very wide foot reasonably well. They require some break-in as robust boots do. Great boots overall, and I am sure I will buy another pair someday.

I have had some mild

I have had some mild plantar fasciitis challenges and now look for hiking boots with firmer more solid soles. This boot is working out well for me. The sole feels soft and flexible enough without feeling like I am just wearing a tennis shoe. I also find the tread grips well on slopes and somewhat slippery terrain. In my experience these boots run a half size small especially if you need a more roomy toe-box
