These are great looking boots.

These are great looking boots. I was concerned about pressure points at the flex of my ankle, but a brief walk around my ranch and they’re just about broken in! I have slim ankles and a low volume foot and normally wear a women’s 10 or 10.5. I wish Danner made this boot in women’s. I ended up with the men’s 9. I think they’re gonna work for me.

First the bad: Resolve to

First the bad: Resolve to the fact that you will have to zip AND lace/unlace these boots each time you put them on and take them off. The zipper is just not stout enough and blew out on my first pair. I’m not considering this a chore, since these are the BEST BOOTS I HAVE EVER OWNED. I’ve walked just about 20 miles in this pair over the past few weeks Hog Hunting on foot through Texas bottom lands. Fields with lots and lots of standing water to usually just above the ankle. No leakage, no pain, & no numbness in my toes after a long night of hiking/hunting! Toe box is perfect for my hobbit-like feet. The price is steep, but the boots and the customer support are worth it.
