The boot itself is what I was expecting from a Danner boot. Good quality and comfortable. I am quite disappointed however in the size. I've read other reviews. My normal size is 11.5 and I ordered a 13 thinking I was really up-sizing...NOT. I chatted with Danner and was told boots with insulation in them will run small because of the added insulation. If they know this, why can't Danner compensate for the extra material?? I decided to 'up' another size to a 14 but not sure where this will end. I also tried to order the wide EE size but that was out of stock. Customer representative could not tell when they would be in stock again or if they would ever be in stock again. Kind of left me hanging.... This review is my initial feedback. I have not worn the boots so no performance feedback yet.
