First impression is that these

First impression is that these boots will fit the bill. Sizing is right on and very comfortable. I'm not having the ankle rub others mentioned even though some high tops bother my ankles. They could run on the warm side, spring has just arrived so I'll have to see about temperature and durability. Time will tell, but pleased now.

Exactly what was expected. A lightweight, wearable boot. I ended up conditioning and sealing the leather, as it scuffed easily. Not a deal breaker, but want it to last a while. Hikes in high desert and alpine terrain w/o a problem.
