These are the best boots I've ever had. I had to get good work boots for a huge outdoor painting job and as much as it pained me to splatter paint on these beautiful shoes, I'm so relieved that I invested and made the sacrifice. They're working as hard as I am. I have arthritis in the soles of my feet and I haven't felt any pain on my feet while I'm wearing these boots - I got insoles for extra padding, but even before that, they were okay. The ankles were stiff the first day - but like roller skates or ice skates, I feel like they're stiff to protect your ankles and they break in after one big ol 8 hour shift. The toebox is a *bit* narrow - I've got unruly pinky toes that generally rub in any shoes I wear, so when I read about sizing up a half size in the other reviews, I figured that was the route to go. I am usually a 9.5 and I got 10's and while they're a little long (really minimal), it's totally fine because I can tell if they'd been more snug in the toe, it would've rubbed. SO IF YOU HAVE UNRULY PINKY TOES like me, then size up a half size. Otherwise, they're true to size.

I LOVE my Loggers! I am the Operations Manager for a nonprofit who plants trees. I was looking for a boot that would keep my feet dry and feeling good at the end of the day. While I’m on a project these boots get me through a very lengthy day dry and comfortable! There was no break in period. They fit like slippers as soon as I put them on. The leather is soft and supple. These boots paired with the mid weight socks I also purchased is a combination I can count on for having happy feet. The boots are worth every penny spent.

I've had these boots for about a year and love them! Not only are the most comfortable boots I've ever purchased, but I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They are warm, durable, stylish and very comfortable. I've worn them for 10-14 hours a day! I don't have a single complaint. Perfection! Bravo Danner!

These are the most comfortable boots, out of the box, I have ever bought. I have bought other brand expensive work type boot that were disappointingly uncomfortable, not these. I wanted a boot to 'work' arouind my property to protect my ankles & feet in tall grass & mud. These are perfect, stylish & worth every penny!

I absolutely love these boots. They fit amazingly and are so comfortable I could wear them every day. At first, I was worried they were too beefy to be cute, but I get so many compliments. I couldn't be happier. I did size down from 8.5/9 to an 8. These won't be my last Danners.

These boots are remarkable. The quality & fit is superior to anything else out there. The leather is soft and buttery. Size is spot on nice wide toe box and the laces allow you to snug down or loosen the fit per your preference. Recently the Logger 917 were the only shoe/boot I wore everyday for 3 weeks while touring Türkiye. From hiking hillside ruins to fine dining at Michelin Star restaurants. These stylish boots never let me down. They kept my feet happy in rain, snow, and miles upon miles of urban hiking. The pair I bought worked for me. My feet never complained.
