I had the n45 low,

I had the n45 low, and got the mid gtx and am impressed. It's handling snow and ice like a champ. It was stiff the first day around the ankle, but by day two of rucking it was perfect. Excellent ankle support and gives plenty of room even without the wide toe box. I believe that option is there if you need it!

Another well made Danner

Another well built, tough, functional well designed boot from Danner. Super comfortable. 10 mile hike out of the box and they were great. I tried a pair of Danner about a year ago. Since then ive replaced my work boots, hunting boots, hiker and everyday shoe with Danner. They are so well built and durable, i like that I'm supporting a US company, my knees and ankles feel so much better after wearing them for a year, highly recommend.
