I didn’t have to break them in, very comfortable right out of the box. I did have to exchange for the Jags because the the tops on the Adrika came up a little too high on back of leg which made them uncomfortable for me.

True to size, love the Adrika style shoe. Although this is a great fitting and comfortable shoe I still love Danner’s Panaroma Mid better. I have just recently became a huge fan of Danner shoes. I have an extremely high arch and a mass of arthritis right on the top. Usually I have to “break” in my shoes but both of these two styles I have slipped on, my foot felt like it was siding into a velvet glove. No forcing or the felling of it. The shoes wrap around your foot. The footbed is flat and wide, the sole feels so comfortable so you feel good in foot placement as you walk. Fast delivery and great tracking. I will not purchase any other shoes other than from Danner. Always checking Danner first. Best shoes!

I love these boots, but I should have sized up a half or even a whole. I took my usual 6.5 and they are true to size and they fit comfortably with thick socks. But I realized my mistake after hiking steep downhills when my toes would painfully jam into the front. Since they were used it was too late to exchange them at that point. If only I bought them from REI! I still love these, but it’s time to reserve them for more casual hiking and walking. I’ll be sizing up on my next pair!

I had high hopes for these cool retro style boots. Sadly, they didn’t keep my toes warm in 30° temps, and they’re a bit stiff and flat footed inside. Not as cushy as I would like. And I generally wear womens size 8 but could’ve used 8 1/2.
