The boots run big and the width of normal is too narrow. The leather does not do well with polishing. For work I need that spit shine so kind of disappointing. Once I got the right size sorted out, they’re awesome. Comfy and light. Just wish they polished better.

This is my 3rd pair of Danner boots. All (3) pairs are still worn and feel great. I have the 8” Kinetic and 8” Lookout, but the 8” Instinct pair are by far the best looking and the best feeling on my feet. The quality is great, plus these boots take a shine real well.

Very well made boot overall. Comfortable right out of the box. Very sleek look and stable feel for everyday. I believe they will hold up over time. I didn’t know about the zipper issues until after I ordered them. I have experienced the zippers do unzip sometimes. I still love the boots. I have relied on Danner boots for a long time and have several sets. Right now I use these for security work. Great investment so far.

This boot looks great and the size is true.
However, I didn’t like the amount of material around the ankle area. My pant leg kept getting caught on it every time I exited my vehicle.
One other thing I noticed that the side zipper was constantly going down on its own. Just made it annoying and ended up rolling my foot.
Note to self, don’t buy boots with side zippers. On a positive note they are very comfortable boot, wish it came in an option with no side zipper.

I was disappointed with the comfort. The quality of boot seems fine. I intended for boot to be my main boot but I since purchased a different brand and and now these danners are backup boots.
