These are great boots for

These are great boots for the fire station. My son wears a 9. 5 sneaker but wears an 8 wide in this boot. They seem to run big. They are sturdy so the wide width felt more comfortable. The side zipper makes them easy to get on quickly. The toe is reinforced but not steel which is good. They have scuffed pretty quickly but he hasn't yet tried buffing them yet. They are more comfortable than they look.

This is my 3rd pair of the EMS lookout side zips. I like the smaller heel, I find it’s easier on my joints. The boots stretch a lot once you’ve worn them for a few months. I’ve gone down a half size, but still feel they get sloppy. I haven’t gone from wide to regular yet. To much for of a chicken. Overall good boots. I did have to use the warranty on the zipper once.

I do love these boots!

I do love these boots! I just started my EMT class but they are so warm and waterproof for my bike ride in to class and to be in them during clinical and class all day. I think these are going to be my go to boots for my career! They fit perfectly
