I bought this pair, just so I could send in my first pair to get resoled. this is an excellent boot for doing patrols out doors and standing for long periods of time.
the toe box on this model is a little small, so I would consider ordering the next size up. Be advised, that the next size up gives you a wider toe box but, also makes the whole boot wider. Check them out, if you don't like them you can return them for free.
1 walk 3 to 4 miles during a patrol, in all types of weather and my feet are totally protected and comfortable.
I would gladly recommend this boot.

Love my Danners. This is my 3rd pair in my 25yr career. To say they’re durable and comfortable is an understatement. My opinion best boot out there.
My only want would be for a zipper specifically designed for the Acadia model. Also a pull loop when putting the boot on.

This may be trivial…. overall these are great boots. However, I miss the brass Gore-Tex lace medallion that all my other Danner boots have come with. It’s a small touch that sets these boots apart from other brands. Apparently they don’t ship with these anymore?

I’ve owned about 10 pairs of Danner Acadia boots. To me they are the best American made boot that money can buy. They fit great and keep my feet warm in the Montana and Dakota’s cold winter. I am pretty hard on them and they still stand up to the abuse. When I wear out the tread, I send them in to Danner to get them reconditioned. Always a great boot and awesome customer service. Thank you Danner.

Love these boots. They fit great right out of the box. I knew they would as I also have a pair of the Blackhawk II boots. I wanted something with some insulation for the cold winter weather in Michigan. The 400G insulation is perfect for me. Keeps my feet warm without the boots being big and bulky. I actually just got done snow blowing 5-6 inches of snow out of my driveway and my feet stayed warm and dry. They fit true to size just like my Blackhawks do. One suggestion I would make is to add some of the hook style eyelets at the top of the boot to make getting on and off easier. But its really no big deal to unlace the boots a few eyelets down. Definitely recommend these boots. Also made in U.S.A. which is a must for me!
