Finally, a boot I now trust to keep up with me.

I wear these boots in the woods while running a chainsaw. They handle limbs, rocks, briars and copperheads like no boots I've used until now. I like the way they are made to be heavy duty, all stitched (not glued together), and not gore-tex lined. They do require some break-in, but that was a minimal setback that I was happy to accommodate. I also like the fit as so many boots these days are too wide for my feet. I am cursed with weak ankles and these boots provide great support. I can't yet say how long they will last, but they are off to a good start.

I really like my Danner

I really like my Danner Flashpoint ll 10” all leather boots a lot. I was going to buy a different brand but a friend told me about her Danner boots and how well she liked them. I bought a pair. I wear them everyday even though I am not on call for fire duty but could be called up to respond. They are on my feet for about 14 plus hours a day 5 days a week. They are as comfortable as a pair of tactical boots that I was wearing on the job. Since receiving them I bought some boot grease and applied it to the boots which softened the leather. I even applied it the inside of the boot because there was a couple of spots of where the boots were sown together that hurt my feet , since doing this these spots are soft and have disappeared. IMHO they run true to size. If someone is considering buying boots I would recommend Danner Flashpoint II boots.

Took about three weeks to

Took about three weeks to fully break in, but now they are excellent! I am happy in every way except one. They are in fact loose in the heel at others had also stated. It's slight, but on real got days with miles in the boot, it will start to eat your heel. A piece of tape does the trick but otherwise excellent product.
