Great station boot but if you in a hand crew / hotshot crew I would get something with a bigger heel ( just my opinion ) This boot is very comfortable and you can break them in very easy.

I wish you made a women's boot!!! It would be nice to have a narrower heel fit. Still pretty stiff - don't flex well going down stairs. Otherwise comfortable.

After my new whites boots failed on me after day 3 on the Dixie Fire I purchased these Danner Boots and was nervous about breaking them in directly on the fire line I was really surprised on how comfortable they were immediately from the moment I put them on and every day after on the fire.
