I needed a pair of NMT work boots for a job that frequently involves passing through metal detectors. I also have a difficult time finding boots that I like. These were very comfortable out of the box, and have continued to improve over the first month of consistent use. NGL, I did swap out the insoles ;-) One thing I was looking for was ankle support, and these deliver on that as well. They are definitely tough, don't weigh too much IMO. I think they look great. If I had one piece of constructive criticism, it would be re: how easily they scuff -- I think that there could be some reinforcement for the leather around the toe, but that's about all I can think of to improve the boot. Also, for those who are shopping and questioning size -- I typically where a size 12 in my running shoes. I purchased both size 12 and 13 (regular width) in these boots. The 12 was a little too snug in width and length, but the 13 is perfect. I have what I think is the perfect amount of room in the toe box, and all the toes are covered.
