These replaced a pair of very well used Danner Mt Adam’s (no longer made). I need a solid foot bed, that is also supportive for my plantar fasciitis (including custom orthotics), and these seem to fill the bill. Also love the padding!

Danner boots are by far

Danner boots are by far the best boots! I have had four pairs of the distressed Quarry boots over the past 7 years. I buy a new pair ever year and a half to two years. They are very well built and the wear is excellent. I am also in the fire service and I wear the black Quarry as my station/wildland boots because they are such a great boot. I definitely recommend Danner boots to anyone looking for extreme comfort and durability. I wasn't aware that my boots can be reconditioned, but now that I know that, I'll be using that service in the future!

Extremely comfortable from day one.

Extremely comfortable from day one. I still have my favorite Danner insulated waterproof work boot my wife bought me over 20 years ago, and I’ve put them through hell. I hope this new pair is half as good!

i own several pairs of

i own several pairs of danners,even a 12 year old pair of black quarries. these didn't seem as ruggedly built as my older pair plus the sizing was off. i ended up sending them back and as a smaller size was not in stock i purchased a pair of thorogood 814-4520 american heritage. i really like all of the other pairs of danners i've bought over the years but these just didn't work out. the quality seemed ok though
