I personally do not like the padding around the top. They work loose and have to be retied during the day. Otherwise they seem pretty good.

Took a couple of weeks to break in, the boots are great. They look great many compliments. Overall the Danner boot continues to be my favorite wether it's military or civilian.

I bought these Quarry boots again to replace the ones I bought 15+ years ago. Not because I wanted to, but because I had to. I didn't want to spend the $200+ to have them recrafted. Straight out of the box I was quickly remined why I purchased these boots and kept them for so long. The are so comfortable and they only get better with time. They honestly feel like I am wearing sneakers. They are worth every penny!! Do yourself a favor, bite the bullet and pay for quality boots that are made in the USA.
