I needed a pair of steel toed boots for work and since I already own and love a pair of Danner Bull Run Moc Toe (plain toe) boots, I reasoned these would be a solid investment.
I have not been disappointed. These boots fit the same as the non-steel toed version and are great on the concrete floors I have to walk on daily. My only complaint is they seem to be taking longer to break in and for reasons I can't figure out, put pressure on one of my ankles to the point of limping. I solved the problem by wearing the boot loose for two weeks.
Over all, a quality boot that I look forward to wearing daily.

Actually the boots were for my wood splittin, tractor ridin???, garden boss partner Linda. She likes them a lot - which is a deal because she has gone through several bargain barn pairs that don???t fit well, don???t wear well, and last two maybe three years. I finally decided she needed a good boot. Danners were the hiking boots of my younger years - did not know you were still around. And was immediately interested in a boot made in the US. You did not disappoint us. They are a little pricy but will probably break even with two pair of cheaper boots. And they help some US families pay the bills. Why not a five star? There is always room for improvement. Keep on keeping on. When I wear these US version Redwings out I???ll give you a call.

I’ve been in the food manufacturing industry for a decade now, and am required to wear steel toed boots. We work so often, we need new boots every 1-2yrs. These boots are the best boots I’ve ever gotten for work By Far! Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but they are So Comfortable! They really fit true to size and fit like a glove. I have a wider foot, but my toes have plenty of room. Not one blister from day one. I broke them in by just wearing thick socks for the first 3 all day wears at work, and then wore normal socks since and Never had Any discomfort! I will never buy another brand of shoe for work, it’s taken me 10yrs to find these and these are it!

I’m in construction, it’s hard to find small well made steel toe work boots.
These are awesome.
These are my 2nd pair.
My old ones are over 3 years old. The seam went out one day so I bought a new pair. The even more amazing thing is danner was able to fix my old pair!!!
In these boots I wear a 6.5 but normally I wear a 7 in ladies.
