Danner 15439 - Logger

I am 55 and have worked construction since I was 16. I have tried every possible work boot you could think of with Redwing being the most used. The brand I have been using has gone downhill with the boots poorly built and feel terrible to wear, taking at least two weeks to break in. These new Danner boots are by far the best pair of boots I have EVER owned. Perfect fit and very comfortable right out of the box. Will never purchase any other brand again!

Arguably the best boots I've ever worn. Wife got them for me, as she really disliked my existing boots in slippery weather.I'm 69, and though while very active I do have balance issues. I've had a lot of boots. None have ever felt this stable. Packer/Logger boots are one of my favorites, but the soles are no as heavily lugged as these, and the heel is narrower and shorter (front to back, not height) on those. I've been wearing them every day for the past several as suddenly Idaho became Alaska. Just came in from wading through 18+ inches of snow to feed the chickens. Then spent a couple hours pulling dry(er) locust wood from the racks and splitting for the fireplace. Stable while swinging a 8lb maul, bone dry, and not cold. When we ran out of degrees this week, (negative, below zero) no issues. The slightly forward canted shaft surprised my with the difference it made in comfort. Did a lot of walking in them in Grand Teton and Jackson hole and found them very comfortable. Received at lot of compliments on them too. These are great boots.

Very comfortable, great looking boots however they are not exactly waterproof. After 3 months I am not expecting perfection but my other Danner boots were exceptionally good in that regard so I am a little disappointed. I work outside in the snow all winter so a waterproof boot is a necessity.

This is a great pair of boots. Absolutely love the quality, fit, and how my feet feel at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

I’ve been wearing danner boots along time like 20 years now this my first time with the logger boots. And love them I put them on the first day I got them. They easy to break in and wear good. Will definitely buy another pair soon I have got a new pair of the quarry boots and these new logger boots and have no complaints about either pair

They feel great right out of the box. My first pair lasted me just short of a year of daily use in all kinds of environments, from working on dry concrete to ankle deep mud /snow, soaked in grease/oil, etc. The first and only thing to fail was the stitching on the outer sole to leather upper. Bought my second pair so I could send the old ones back for recrafting. Would definitely recommend this boot. Two thumbs up on quality and comfort!

The extra piece of leather through the shoelaces I believe would look Better if they we're not. Down too far towards the toes. Simply make holes about an inch down.

I am beyond impressed with this product. To say that this is a traditional logger style boot in support and comfort but without the extra weight is absolutely the truth. I’ve worn these boots sunup to sundown since the day they arrived and I’ve yet to have a hotspot on my feet, or a problem of any kind with these boots. Felling trees, cutting firewood, working cattle, maintaining farm equipment, these boots handle it all. Highly recommend!
