The trakwelt is my first boot with rubber outer toe. I was skeptical about the look and performance. I had previously worn hiking boots, work boots and loggers and they all left a bit to be desired. The trakwelt took about a week to “break in”. They are super comfortable and seem durable so far. The only downfall believe it or not has been the laces. They seem to be wearing prematurely. Overall a great boot.
