Great boots. The Danner comfort

Great boots. The Danner comfort system is great. It makes the boots have basically zero break in time. The only thing that I don’t like with the boots are their boot laces. They sell a premium lace that is a must to buy. The laces that come on the boot is not their premium lace and you will be lucky to get more than 4 months from them before the outside comes off the lace. Danner you should really just upgrade to your better lace and be done with the cheaper ones. If you have a better lace why not make that the standard on all your boots.

I got the chance to figure out what size is best for me by going into a store and trying on the size of the brand. As these are my first boots I’d have to say they are exactly what I hoped for with the comfort system. Whether I’m standing on a ladder or standing on concrete floor with screws and dry wall dust, these shoes keep me comfortable enough to not notice what I’ve been doing for so long. Would recommend going into a store to try on shoes with safety toe before purchase.

This is my fourth or fifth part of these boots. I work with high power electronics so require a techtoe and a soul that can handle oily surfaces. These are comfortable boots that more than do the job. Only complaint so far with this pair is a squeak has started in the heel of my right boot and I have owned this pair is still relatively new. This is an anomaly in comparison to the other pairs I have owned over the years and could just be something with the insoul. I have used these boots in various environments, including on a mountain top tower in negative 30F for extended periods of time with no complaints (also had appropriatesocks).
