I did a lot of research trying to find a good work boot that I could wear with my plantar fasciitis. I chose the Sandy Ridge 4. 5" Brown, and I am very please with the boots. I chose the regular toe (not safety toe) because that is adequate for what I need. I ordered the size 7 (I usually wear a size 7 or 7 1/2) which ended up being snug with my socks. I read another review where someone sized up a 1/2 size in order to wear thicker socks, so did the same, and the fit was much better. It took a couple of days to break the boots in, as there is an inner seam that rubbed at bit on my ankle. I've worn the boots for a few outdoor jobs, and they seem nice and sturdy, and the water resistance is good, too. They are easy to slip my foot into, have good support and I love the way they look. I was please with how quickly they shipped, and how simple it was to return them for a different size. (They even issued me a promotional code, so I could reorder with the same sale price. ) I appreciate Danner's quality products and good service, and would definitely consider ordering from them again.
