I have had 2 pairs of the hiking composite toe the past 3 years i use them for work walk all day outside all terrain. I do not wear them in the Chicago winter. ( when snowing or snow on ground ) . Even though considered hiking not work boot they are the lightest boot i have ever worn by a far! I wouldn't necessarily say they are waterproof but they are water repellent
Which is basically what you want, unless you're literally standing in puddles or deep water. From day one mine, get spray paint and numerous solvents. Sprayed on them just in passing, and they have stood up from all of that, along with the elements I would highly recommend them. If you walk a lot during the day and don't do heavy construction. Yes, they do have a safety tow, but beyond that safety toe it's more on the soft side of a shoe/ boot, compared to the invader work boot, which I have my 1st pair showing up tomorrow, and we'll review those in a couple months. For anyone that has feet problems or maybe it's due to a defection. In the boot, I am a huge person of putting my own insoles in, I found some very nice. Thin foam ones on amazon for ten bucks a pair, and they are on the thin side. Hope this review helps

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He loves them! No break in time and very comfortable. Have had a hard time finding boots that don’t hurt his feet and don’t cost $300+. These fit the bill!

I liked the shoes. Looks and feels solid. The fit is a bit narrow I feel. So if you have wide feet select the wide one. The shoe also runs warm inside. So it's perfect for winters. And snow.
