Great Boot! But a little too Loose.

Great Boot. Love everything about it, except that it runs a little large. These don't run as large as the Georgia boot lines do, but I got a 7 1/2 which is my shoe size and even with heavy socks the boots are too large for me. I would have exchanged them for a smaller size, but it wasn't the length, it was the interior shape. Love how well they are made, too bad I couldn't keep them. CAT let me return them with no difficulties.

Light weight, steel toe, waterproof.

Pretty comfortable right out of the box. I run a backhoe and crane to install water mains and these boots fit the bill perfectly. This is my third pair, no worries walking around jobsite with mud, standing water or rain runoff. I find myself taking out on weekends if I go hiking in the mountain trails.

Nice boot with a couple issues...

These boots seem to be pretty rugged and they look awesome, BUT I would like to know why all the shoe and boot manufacturers put LAME paper thin inserts in their foorwear????? You cannot have comfortable boots when they cheap out on the inserts, it's just ridiculous! Having said that, once I spent another 15 bucks on some REAL inserts, I had a pair of boots that were truly comfortable, but not until you get some REAL inserts!! Another weak point are the round laces that don't like to stay tied tight very good. The last two eyelet hooks toward the top suck I wish they would stick with the holes! These are a pain to lace around, you have to squeeze the lace through the narrow opening! These issues are common with a lot of footwear, and like I said these are pretty nice looking boots and most importantly, seem to be pretty rugged but time will tell. One more thing I didn't realize till now is that CAT boots are a division of Wolverine.
