Held up well over the years. Waterproof, and wore them today for a job. I wear them in kitchens, gardening, hiking, random times. It's a decent big black boot. Looks stylish when new and when rundown and used for 3+ years still okay looking. I think aesthetics are important for your footwear as well as protection. Love the steel toe. Considered buying another pair. I believe this is my second pair that I bought after wearing through the first pair. Eventually water will get in, or if it gets a good gash in the rubber/leather.

Great boot, great company/warranty

Bought this boot years ago when I was farming, served me well and so when it would finally break down I replaced it with another. I’m not in the commercial trades/service and I continue to only wear these every day, they’re comfortable for 8,9,10,11+ hours of work and they last if taken care of. Important Note: I have had a few pair that have had quality issues (stitching gave out only a few months in), CAT has warrantied them no questions asked. I respect a company that stands behind their product and warranty.
