CAT 1310117 - Cascade Jacket

This was an impulse buy, ordered it for the olive brown color at the same time I was ordering the Cat Bedrock in the same color. Man, this is a terrific jacket! Size L with the sleeve length fits longer than I expected, as I normally need to have a Tall. Hidden storm cuffs in the sleeve were a welcome surprise also. 3 interior pockets, two are large mesh (not a fan of these) and one is a normal pocket, it sits up higher on your chest and does not take away room from the exterior pockets in the same location, nicely done! Water repellent is spot on in a light rain like we are having right now, and the Velcro wrist tabs offer unlimited adjustments to make it fit just right. The zipper is one directional and has smaller teeth, so it is quite, but not as rugged as I would have expected. (The CAT Bedrock was used for comparison.) This does not have elbow patches and feels that this might be a likely area of early wear. The insulation is soft, warm, comfortable and easy to slip over layering. The hood is large allowing a hat to be worn comfortably under it, plus there is a very soft and separate stand up collar to keep the neck warm and prevent drafts when not using the hood. Very pleased with it, would recommend it. (Hats off to the fulfillment team for speedy processing.)

Coat is comfortable and warm. The tucked cuff of the sleeve is a nice feature. Only issue so far for me is hood is too large and hangs over the eyes with no way to secure it back some.

Fits great. Feels real good and is very waterproof. I would buy another one if I could get it for the same price. Shipping was on the spot even right before Christmas. I needed the jacket for myself. It worked out well we got almost a foot of snow and it got down to 40 below zero with the wind chill. It worked like I expected. Thank you

The hood is sized to fit over a safety helmet, which I don't use, returned Jacket because of this, would have been nice to have that information before I ordered.

I was pleasantly surprised at he fit and quality of this jacket. This is the perfect cool but not cold weather you will reach for. The cuffs fit nice around the wrists and the jacket zips up around the neck to keep out those nasty breezes. Oveer all, this is a 10.
