I ordered this vest in both a medium and large. I normally wear a medium but want to layer and wear shirt and sweatshirt underneath for an upcoming trip. The medium is snug and only works with a shirt.
I am disappointed that this vest has been replaced with such a limited color selection. Would like to see Woodlawn and Carhartt Brown again.

It’s everything I wanted but the plus sizing is a problem. I am recommended at a 2X, fit well in a 1X, and could probably have sized down again to an XL. But lets face it, I’m only 5’2” and bigger definitely doesn’t mean taller! This “vest” now comes down far enough to be a parka length on me and that wasn’t the objective. However, it fits so nicely with a hoodie and layers that I am going to keep it long. I have tried the jackets only to be disappointed in the arm length so this is much less of a visible compromise. Unfortunately this is soon to be a discontinued style according to the website but no matter the style I would recommend two way zippers and an eye to the petite XL market that some of the other brands have grabbed. Not perfect but my love of the heavy weight and the sherpa lining (pockets too!) will keep this in rotation I’m sure.
