Carhartt WB136 - Women's Double Front Sandstone Easy Fit Pant

I was jealous of my husband for his warm pants! When my spine doctor told me I need to kneel instead of bending over, I knew I had to get my own tough, warm crawl-in-the-snow britches. I couldn't be happier. I change the chicken water, go in the crawl space... You can better husband is happy, too! These, coupled with my Carhart long johns, give me extended time in the elements for chores, art, grand kids and pets.

They fit great and are strong! I work in the garden a lot and they work great for that. They are super quality, but are still comfortable.

My daughter, who works clearing brush, usually buys her Carhartts at a local store, so she can try them on and be sure of a good fit. We took a chance and decided to order through this website (much cheaper!), and were very pleased with these pants. She says they fit perfect, are very comfortable, and great to work in.

Having long legs and narrow hips, I have thus had to buy mens work jeans my entire life, until now. Even though these pants have a very wide hip area (lots of extra room to fit women with hips), these pants are cut so flattering that they do not look baggy on me. They are heavy work pants that look great. I bought three pair just in case Carhartt stops making them. I love the cell phone pocket on each side, the large flattering back pockets, the way they are cut lower at the waist then mens work jeans... I tried them on for the first time and instantly thought "YES - Finally!". My only complaint is they do not make this exact cut in lighter weight material, and in other colors. They do run a bit large. I am a muscular build, 5'8" tall, 145lbs, and the 8 is more than large enough to allow for shrinkage in the dryer or future weight gain. LOVE THEM! I can actually walk into a hardware store now and not get called "Sir" as often!

Items need to come in bigger sizes - such as 20, 22, 24. Not all women are the size of Marlin Monroe

I volunteer as a senior for the Sheriff Dept for El Dorado County in CA. Black slacks are required. For summer weather I wanted black, and comfort with lighter weight material. I am very happy with my selection
