These gloves are very warm and soft inside which is great. The knit cuff keeps debris out of them too. They stay waterproof up to a certain point, but if they get too waterlogged your hands will get wet. I really like these gloves, I bought them last year and bought a replacement pair this year. However, my complaint about them is that they are comically big. I have average sized hands and the gloves- from the cuff up- look like giant cartoon hands on me. They are protective and warm, but due to their ridiculously large size you have no dexterity in them, so you have to take them off to do anything fiddly which kinda defeats the purpose. If Carhartt made these exact gloves but in a slimmer profile they would be perfect.
