Over a number of years 15 years ago or so, i had models of this basic shirt design from three prominent manufacturers. After a while I noticed that when the collars started to fray ( and the shirt was really comfortable), the buttons of two of the manufacturers started to come off. A little research revealed that none of the Carharrt buttons ever came off. I settled on this shirt and have been wearing it practically every day since. Im hoping to wear it the rest of my life. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Totally satisfied.

Wish I could find this exact shirt and style in a different color! This long sleeved shirt fits well and now we have two exactly the same so he can have one to wear and one in the wash. Even in AZ he gets cold with the temp set at 78 so he needs coverage. These shirts look good and go through washings with no shrink and few wrinkles.
