I bought these bibs for deer hunting in Minnesota. I liked the bibs they are warm and cut the wind for the most part. I feel safer that they are blaze orange. I will buy a pair for each of my boys.

ive owned a couple pairs of bibs and these are by far the best. im 16 and during the winter i plow snow for a company. mostly 20 degrees or lower and these keep me very warm. im operating skid steers ans driving plow trucks throwing salt and the whole time im comfortable and warm. haven't had a single problem with them wear them everyday during the winter and have yet to had a single issue with them. the best you could buy for sure. if your looking for a good pair of bibs for the winter that you can work in get these

These overalls are great for any hunter that is going agains nature in colder areas. Thickets of brush and briars cannot stop these things. They really hold up well. Also they are extremely comfortable to walk in.

I've had these overalls for a few years. They kept me warm while replacing my windows and siding last November. They were not only comfortable but durable. I wore them with my hooded jacket from Carhartt.

Can't beat Carhartt

As the director of a 100 acre farm animal sanctuary, I am out in the weather 365 days a year caring for the animals. I have tried other brands of quilt lined overalls over the years...but always find myself coming back to Carhartts. The others just don't hold up.
The one weakness in these fine overalls is the leg zippers. I have several pairs of Carhartts hanging on hooks that are all several years old and still serviceable...except for the zippers.
Adding a bottom leg flap with a snap would help keep the bottom of the zippers from getting caught on tractors and other obstructions (or bitten and pulled on by a hungry animal) and broken.
I hate to have to go buy another pair of overalls for the upcoming winter just because all my other pairs are "flapping in the wind" at the legs. It is just about impossible to find a commercial seamstress who can remove and replace these heavy duty zippers...I have tried with no results.
But, barring the vulnerability of the leg zippers, Carhartt makes the best cold weather overall on the market...bar none.

I got my pair of these R02 overalls in the blaze orange color, a couple days ago, and am glad to see they are made in USA. The fit was what I was expecting, and they didn't shrink at all in the wash. I did have to wash them twice when I got them, they had a strong smell of mothballs for some reason. After one wash, I could still smell it, so washed them again, and used some febreze with it, and now its only faintly detectable. I hope a few more washings takes the smell away...very odd, never had that happen before. I expect they will last a good long time like my other Carhartt clothes...
