I chose this Carhartt J250 soft shell jacket over some brands that generally have a more expensive image in the market. People can't believe this is a Carhartt product and told me it looks as good or better than much more expensive brands. But the issue to me is that I love it myself. You simply can't go wrong with this particular jacket. Carhartt....you need more colors, but I love mine in black.

Already had red one ,had to have black one , had northface apex large actually bigger fit than i like this fits bit snugger size smaller , yet feels good enough to move in lightweight yet keeps you warm highly recommend

Excellent quality and price. Love the weight of the jacket. I usually wear a ladies small, but because this is not made for a lady, I ordered a man's small. I'm 5'10 so the sleeves fit excellent. One of the best lightweight coats around.

This jacket is good for spring or early fall. I used it for fishing in the late spring and early fall, casual wear and summer nights in the mountains. It's lightweight and handy. I ordered the black and was happy with my decision. Otherwise, it's just a good lightweight jacket.
