Carhartt J22 - Sandstone Duck Arctic Traditional Jacket - Quilt Lined

dungarees exceeded my expectations. Two days after submitting my order, the product was sitting on my door step. Great customer service and the product was what I expected. Carhartt is a great product and they wear like iron. This was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law in Iowa so the Arctic was perfect.

My husband has wanted a Carhartt jacket for a long time. This one fit the bill. He loves everything about it. I was shocker at how incredibly warm it is...I really think it is warmer than my down coat!

Working outside quite often, carhartt is the easy to go......hubby will not wear anything else.

I purchased this coat in November of 2013. Winter was extremely cold here, single digits and windy. The coat is very warm and you can still move freely. I love Carhartt products. I have everything from j eans, vest, coats, winter hats , and work gloves.

Here in NY winter was hard this year, I use to have a light jacket with hood under a jacket from work, after I got this Carhartt jacket, I don't need the under jacket anymore, I purchase the hood with the jacket, it does what was in tented to do.... however I use a full face cover and just use the hood when it is snowing or wind, the jacket is very strong. I have not washed it yet not sure if will shrink or not. The jacket is very warm, I use all the time, Carhartt got me as a customer in future purchases, I can see this jacket last a long time.

Here is my reference 5'6, 170 lbs. Wear a large shirt. This jackets length is perfect at my height wearing this jacket as a medium. If I was taller than 5'8 I would have ordered a Medium Tall. If 6 ft and over this will be above your belt most likely. I was concerned with Carhartt outsourcing to Mexico. Quality seem great. Comfortable, gives room in shoulders and arms without feeling restricted. Like the fact that the jack is just below the waistline offering mobility. Sizing may be tricky for some due to height in a medium (my opinion only). Order from Dungaree's, best price I've found !! I have the jacket in Sandstone Gravel color in size Large - Regular that fits very short on the waist. I like the model en feel of the jacket very much but it is short. So i ordered an Large-Tall in Black (i can't find it anywhere in the Gravel color, i think Carhartt stopped making it) I received it, but i found out that the so called Arctic Lining polyester insulation was much thinner than in my Gravel jacket. It could be an manufacturing error or they simply put less insulation in the jackets they produce now, i don't no. I complained and Dungarees refunded a part of the money in store credit, thanks. The quality of the stitching and fabric of the jacket is excellent (i hope the insulation was a one-off)!
