I bought this for our 24 year old son for Christmas - he wears it constantly. It's a rugged jacket for outdoor work but still looks good enought to wear out with friends. It's comfortable and warm. He was quite happy with the gift and I was quite happy with the price. (I bought two! One for next year...)

I thought the coat would be warmer then it actually is. This was a very mild winter so the coat was ok, but i feel if the weather is very cold , it would not do an adequate job of keeping me warm

A great lightweight jacket, warm enough for most days and then pair with a vest for the coldest days. This combo makes for great layering from early fall to late spring.

Thermal lining is not at all warm. It sounds that it would be but it is just mesh

I work at a mens homeless shelter, and we had a resident who was stricken with Cancer. The resident, Rick, had several doctors appointments to attend to during the week and Ricks old jacket was flimsy at best. Rick kept saying that he needed a new jacket (because waiting for the bus in a Minnesota winter is not very warm) and sure wish that he had a Carharrt. A fellow employee and I, looked around, and found the jacket that Rick said he wished he had. A blue thermal Carhartt with a hood. We bought the jacket, and gave it to Rick, telling him that someone had donated a jacket, and it was just his size. Rick stood 5ft 1in. Rick was very surprised that out of nowhere, he got the jacket he wished for. Unfortunately, Rick succumed to his disease and passed away last month. I am thankful that we had the opportunity to present Rick with a jacket that he had wanted, and that the Jacket kept him warm while he was going to his chemotherapy appointments. We will miss Rick

My husband owned a Walmart brand jacket similar to this. The quality does not even come close in comparison. I purchased this for him this past Christmas. He loves it. Very comfortable. Very true to size. I love dealing with Dungarees.net. They have the best prices, very prompt delivery and great customer service.
