This jacket was purchased for me by a relative for Christmas 2011 and I couldn't be happier with it. The fit is a bit over sized, but I believe this is because Carhartt realizes the working men/women who use their products are usually outdoors or in situations that call for them to wear multiple layers, and or work/utility belts, etc. You will be glad for a little extra room if you have any tools you need to carry or even a harness to wear under your jacket. The quality of this jacket is straight 6 out of possible 5 stars. There is no other brand that even comes close. A major plus is it looks so sweet I can wear it to run into a store or take my girls out to the movies without feeling like an bum. It just looks great, feels awesome, and is built like a brick, well, you know what. Good luck in your choice.

Good jacket, stands up to a 'pounding' washes out good, fade resistant, may be years old before it looks old. Snap on hood collar is an added bonus. Sherpa lining does a great job of keep you warm while wicking moisture away from your body. Two way zipper is an excellent idea. Once again another working man Home run hit by Carhartt!!
