Carhartt's thermal lined active jacket is perfect for layering. Featuring a lightweight thermal lining and Carhartt's cotton duck exterior, this jacket is great for work or play.

  • 12-ounce, firm-hand, 100% ring-spun cotton duck
  • 100% polyester thermal lining (Black and Navy have black lining; Carhartt Brown has Carhartt brown lining)
  • Attached thermal lined hood with adjustable drawcord
  • Zipper front
  • Two large lower-front pockets

Just what I was looking for

Needed a new outdoor work jacket. Got a J140 for winter and liked it so much, wanted something similar for fall and spring. This was it. Basically the same coat except for the lining. The J131 has a #1 warmth rating and the J140 has a #3 warmth rating.

Outstanding product

Great jacket, durable. Can't find any imperfections for a factory second. Find it a bit large, that's ok put on layers to keep warm.

My husband got this same jacket 25 years ago. After a LOT of use over the years it was time for a new one. Wears well and durable. 25 years from now when this one wears out we will get another!!

High quality durablility for daily wear no matter what you do comfortably.

I’ve gained some weight and find myself in an in-between size where a large shirt is snug and an extra large shirt is slightly big on me. I bought this in a large because I know they are a loser fit. It’s perfect and not to long as I believe an extra large would have been. I’ve spent lots of time working in this style of carhartt jacked, because the thermal lining isn’t overly insulated I don’t over heat in this. This jacket is very comfortable and I find myself wearing it constantly. However this go around I bought the black and would like to recommend another color for people who are going to be in dirtier situations, because the others colors hide it better. Like I said this jacket is cooler and if you live somewhere that is cold I recommend buying the quilted version as well so you can handle any situation in comfortable durable clothing.
