Built to withstand harsh winters, this arctic weight jacket is one of the warmest Carhartt offers.

  • 12-ounce, firm-hand, 100%-ring spun cotton duck
  • Nylon lining quilted to arctic-weight polyester insulation
  • Rib-knit storm cuff in sleeve
  • Two inside pockets
  • Two large lower front pockets
  • Brass front zipper plus storm flap with hook-and-loop closure
  • Triple stitched main seams
  • Pleated bi-swing back enhances movement
  • Split back construction
  • Pleated elbow
  • Corduroy top collar with snaps under collar for optional hood
  • This jacket replaces the J02

Superb Jacket, great look, but much wider at the bottom than European J001 in same M Size

Superb Jacket, great look, but much wider at the bottom than European J001 in same M Size ... that was already wide and sized like a std European L jacket for an M. While it's vertically shorter. I expected it thicker, but it's only a bit thicker than my European J001, so good if you put other layers underneath it, but not really Artic warm by itself... I also bought a L and found the same sizing gaps on it.

This is my 3rd Artic Lined Jacket. The first two are brown and this one is black. I also have the Artic Bibs & Coat in brown. Got to look good even when its cold. The brown makes me look like I've been working hard and the black is like my tuxedo lol!

I bought this coat for my dad. He has trouble with with his hands, being a farmer all his life.The storm flap that is over the zipper is a problem for him, as I knew it would be. I wanted to send it back, but other than that he loves the coat. Said he will deal with it. Great jacket for the price.

It is so stiff, washed twice and dried twice with softener sheet, but wow it is so stiff!

I've owned 1 for 25 years ragged from work on farm fencing still sips up sipper is one of a kind also coveralls real good. also, I like the j01 j02 all are the best tough as rawhide

Perfect jacket to replace my dad’s very old Carhartt jacket

The jacket I ordered for my dad fits perfectly. He usually wears a medium tall but I ordered a regular medium because I have found in the past that Carhartt seems to run a little big.
