Our flame-resistant midweight hood takes the chill out of your work day.

  • 8.5-ounce FR canvas: 88% cotton/12% high-tenacity nylon
  • 8.75-ounce FR quilt lining: FR modacrylic batting quilted to twill face cloth
  • Three-piece hood design for better fit
  • Chin protector with FR hook-and-loop closure
  • Nomex® drawcord for adjustment
  • Arc-resistant snaps for attachment to FR outerwear only
  • 2-ply construction enhances comfort and warmth
  • Carhartt FR label sewn on back
  • Made from inherently flame-resistant fabric
  • Compatible with: FRJ164, FRJ003, 101624 and 101625
  • Meets the performance requirements of NFPA 70E standards

I highly recommend that one purchases the optional hood for any of Carhartt's jacket offerings. You never know when you need one and they can easily be taken off via snaps. Same quality and color as the corresponding jacket.

It's a Hood.

Not much to say here it's a hood. Kinda think it should be include in the FR/ARC jacket. with out the hood your not fully protected. This person is part of our Field Testing program and may have received this product for free. We operate one of the most rigorous field testing programs in the business.
