After having a fantastic experience with the light weight mix toe chukka I decided to try these needing something heavier duty. They are good but not great. They are comfortable but take a long time to break in. I bought these in the late fall when we had cold weather and didn't realize my biggest complaint until spring time?they are
HOT my feet sweat like crazy wearing these all day and that's not normal for me. Unfortunately I will have to buy something else and will likely put these away until the seasons change again

well made. easily broken in. I've had mine for over three years and wear almost daily. Not used for work. Gardening, auto repair, hiking and general daily wear. I like the fact that I can replace the soles when the time comes.
