Very good rugged boots!

I have gotten several compliments on my new Carhartt boots. They fit me real good also. Quality is very good, however they do say that they are waterproof right on the boot itself. I work in the water industry and sometimes its real hard to not get wet! After a day on the job, and watching to not completely submerge the boots over the laces, I found that they are definately NOT waterproof, but water resistant-my feet were damp at the end of the day. But they are very good boots and would definately reccomend them to anyone.
