Not terribly uncomfortable. Sole lasts a good while if you don't drag your feet like a lazy idiot. Most stitching is decent. The only issue I've had is the stitching has come undone on the toe on both boots. The downside it that it's not layered with leather underneath but a separate piece stitched in place. This leaves a hole exposing the inside of the boot. It also gets snagged on things while walking by or stepping over things and tears because it's thin. If it had material underneath it could be glued and worm for another year while just swapping insoles for better comfort.

I like these boots as they are more stylish than the Timberlands I have been wearing recently. The only two things I don't like about the boots is that they tend to make my feet sweat - I don't get this with my Timberland Boondocks - and they seem roomy unless I put in some sort of insert or wear heavier socks - which makes my feet even sweat even more.
I love the style and they seem to hold up well. i have gotten many compliments on my boots from coworkers who get their boots off the safety shoe truck at work.
They'd be great if you could do something to make them cooler without lessening the insulation value.

Comfortable right out of the box. This is my 3rd pair, I keep going back to them because of their comfort and durability. I wear them 6 days a week 10 to 12 hours a day, and I hardly notice having them on.
