Worth It!!!

From: Joliet, IL Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
These boots are amazing! Comfortable, no break in time needed, no sore feet after a 12hr shift. Definitely worth the $$$ It’s a 10” boot, prepare to be annoyed if tied all the way up tight or loose that’s the only down side. I wear a 13W in redwing and Irish Setter I have a true fit with those 2 brands. These definitely run almost a full size bigger. I suggest going a size down to wear thin socks, or order your true size for thicker socks.

Great WINTER boot

From: Apulia Station, NY Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
These boots looked exactly like what I wanted with tall uppers and a solid water proof base, and that's what I got. What I didn't see is these boots are not normal work boots, they are much larger both in height and width then most normal boots. And the simple reason is they are hardcore WINTER boots, which so far with winter slamming us in the north east late in the season just fine. Come summer I know that the lack of breathability and warmth of these boots will make them oppressive on even the coolest of days. The lacing has a learning curve as you have to unlace underneath the lace guard things about halfway down to even consider getting your feet out. The rear heel cup also takes time to wear in so expect a nice blister before your heel gets callused enough to deal with it. TL;DR Good winter work boot, bad general work boot.

THE BEST SNOW WORK BOOTS EVER!!!

From: Mundelein, IL Age: 20-24 Gender: Male
I work as a porter at a Jeep dealership and I’m outside a lot. In the winter quite often I have to trudge through lots of snow to pull up vehicles. I’ve warn timberland pros for years and beat the heck out them and end up with the leather tearing on the toe. I did A LOT of research on boots and found these. I was a little nervous at first because I saw reviews on Amazon stating that seams came undone on the back of the calf under the padded cuff. I decided to take the chance and my mom got them for me for Christmas. THEY ARE THE BEST BOOTS EVER!!! The composite is awesome and the rubber toe prevents me from destroying it like the the timberlands. The neoprene keeps the water out as well. That’s another thing if I’m buying something for work it better keep water out. And these boots did. I did also coat them in skidmores beeswax for extra protection and it’s worked great so far. I wasn’t fond of the 10” height but I’m so glad they are now. This past week we got 12 inches of snow and with my bibs and these boots those 10” inches served there purpose. They are a bit bulky but that’s no big deal. My coworkers joke and call them the fortnite boots lol. If you not sure if you should get these boots GET THEM!! YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Made well, great materials, a little on the heavy side.

From: Vine Grove, KY Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Well made and it looks good. Not designed for prolonged standing anything more than 4 hours and your feet will definitely feel it. Bought for an area with a winter where temperatures are below freezing in the AM and hover in the mid 30's for the day, not as warm as I expected, even with multiple pairs of wool socks my feet were cold. Great boots overall, just not for a Midwest construction site.

The best!

From: Union Springs, NY Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
I love these boots. I know, I’ve only had them for about a month. But, they are the perfect height for the deep snow and the perfect foot room for my Red Head lifetime socks. They are my snow blowing, snow shoveling, late season hunting and anything to do with working out in the snow and cold. I’m currently working at a Christmas tree farm and when my coworkers are complaining that their feet are cold and they’re slowing down, I’m staying warm moving ahead of them. Yes, I’m all bundled up in my Bartlett jacket and my insulated bibs. These are the best winter boots and I truly feel they will last for many years. Thank you Carhartt
