Love this sweatshirt for the heaviness and the softness however it runs small. I bought a 6 and it fits but my son is generally a 5T. I find that with Carhartt in general, for kids, you always need to go up one size.

Sleeves too short!

I agree with the other reviews. Love the sweatshirt, good quality, but the sleeves are too short! Afraid to get my son a larger size because I don't want him swimming in the rest of it... Very disappointed because the long sleeve T's fit well. No idea why these sweatshirts have such short sleeves!

I like this hoodie sweatshirt but the sleeve length is way too short.

The reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the sleeve length is not nearly long enough. The body length is great but the sleeves are not nearly proportionate with the rest of the hoodie sweatshirt. They should be about 4” longer. The material along with the workmanship is great though.

Nice Hoodie, Unless...

So I gave this hoodie five stars in each of the categories, but only three overall. This is because I have a tall, skinny kid. The first hoodie we ordered was a size 7, which usually fits him. In fact, in the Carhartt long-sleeved shirts he has, they're almost too big. But with the hoodie, the sleeves were nowhere near long enough, even though the rest of the hoodie fit fine. We exchanged for a Youth S, and the sleeves are JUST long enough, but the rest of the hoodie is now slightly big. We'll make it work, but be wary if you also have a skinny kid with long arms!
