Carhartt C51113 - Women's Force® Modern Fit Jogger Pant

I absolutely love how these pants feel and fit. My only complaints are the slash pockets are not deep enough to even fit my pen, I understand there is a partitioned portion of the cargo pocket for the pen but I squat down a lot which pushes the pen and also I work in Radiology so a good part of my day is spent lean into a hard metal table moving patients from one table to another. Having the pen on my leg is quite uncomfortable digging into my leg as I lean across patient to transfer them from their bed to my table. So it the pockets were internal pockets instead of short outer pockets it would make them a whole lot more practical. My other concern is there is no left cargo pocket. I have to carry two phones and the both won't fit into the one pocket. The two shorter right side pockets are not deep enough or expansive enough to hold a second phone. Thus going back to the squatting if I squat down the phone in the tight outer pocket pops out and lands in floor. Other than that I love the cut of the pants, the material they are made of what things I am able to get into the slash pockets up front does not fall out when I sit down at scanner control panel.
