Carhartt C26 - Sandstone Duck Arctic Traditional Coat - Quilt Lined

There has never been a better work coat in the history of the World. The newer models pale in comparison. If you can find one of these C26 DKB Arctic Extremes in your size, you should pay up to a thousand dollars for it. There isn't a better coat out there.

Why does carhartt always discontinue some of there beat clothing that they have made like this jacket

This Coat resists cold wind keeps warmth in and is fairly easy to maintain. My husband works outside a lot and is on blood-thinners for his heart so he gets cold easier/faster now - Coat still does the job. This is the 3rd coat I have purchased him over the past 20 yrs- We have never been let down!

Everything was way too big. When I reordered it the replacement was the wrong style and way too small. The coat is completly out of stock in Leg.

Just what I expected from Carhartt. Unavailable in New Zealand so I had it shipped here by MyUS which I paid extra for but well worth it. I'm saying it runs large because I'm normally a large but I wear a medium in Carhartt.

Fits very well in the upper body. The jacket looks very nice, especially the collar. I do not like the Velcro flap because it makes it slightly difficult to zip. The pockets are higher than other jackets. Overall I like it and will be keeping it. This fits much better in the shoulder area than the C61 style. I recommend sizing down only one size. I wish the functionality was a bit better - i.e. I wish the Velcro pockets on the chest were deeper and lower for ease of use. I wish that the pockets were zippered rather than Velcro, I wish the hand pockets were a bit lower and lined with some soft material, I wish the inside zipper pocket was on the left side rather than the right, I wish the velcro flap for the main zipper did not interfere with the zipping - because it likes to be shut as you are zipping it up.

My husband has been wanting one of these coats for some time so we treated him on Fathers Day this year. He hasn't used it yet because we are not in cold weather currently, but just trying it on he loves it. It fits well, seems durable and warm. He is looking forward to putting it on this fall/winter for outings.
