Carhartt jeans have three belt loops in the back & center. Therefore, when you bend or sit, your belt doesn't ride up over the belt band of the pants. GREAT! Carhartt is the only jean s I have found that understand the importance of this. L*v*s and all the others have gone cheap and left only one back there. Thank you Carhartt.

The heavy is a much better buy than the lighter pair. The big issue I have with these shorts is in the legs. The bottom hem in the legs has a tendency to roll up. I do not like this rolling.

Been wanting a pair of shorts that had utility pockets of my work pants (also Carhartt) for quite sometime now. Not a big fan of ordering clothes online, especially across the US/Canada border.
