I like the style and durability of these jeans
I try to buy two pairs of the same jeans, same size.
However I have noticed there have been differences in length and waist size even though the tags are the same. This has happened with online and store purchases.
This has happened twice, so it does not appear to be a one time issue.
Otherwise, I like these jeans and will try each pair on before accepting.

The quality, stitching, and color are great. HOWEVER, the sizing chart and tag are incorrect. Definitely get a inch or even two larger than needed in the waist.

I've been wearing these jeans for 25 years. I wear them daily.... and I absolutely have loved them. In the past they have been very durable and I would get a several years out of the 6+ pairs I rotate through. The last 3 pairs I bought ripped out in the back at the pocket corner after a month or two. Very discouraging, since they still looked like new. I am not a big or heavy guy. I just bought 3 more pair, but if they don't hold up I guess I will have to look for a replacement brand that is durable. I can only think they Carhartt has changed their materials and/or manufacturing locations/processes.

I have been buying Carhartt products since the 1950's, and have always been pleased with the durability and quality. My recent purchase of traditional Carhartt jeans with tapered leg was because they fit and look the best on me. I tried to purchase this style at two local stores that sell Carhartt, but they did not carry the traditional fit with tapered leg. I am very satisfied with my online purchase directly from Carhartt.

Wore B18 for years then they changed. Now have brown pockets. Bought 4 pairs every pair split within 3 months either at back pockets or from zipper down. Completely ruined. Old ones lasted 2 years. Never again

I order 4 pairs twice a year of the same exact jean. I have never had a problem until the last 2 orders. The jeans rip right at the rear pockets where they are sewed to the pants. This happens long before they are worn out. Seems that the quality has really changed over the last 2 years. Maybe time to find a new product.
