My daughter is 2.5 years old and I wanted a backpack for her that would not fall apart. Since carhartt does not have a children's specific backpack we decided to give this one a go. She is 34 inches tall and the classic mini backpack seems to be a good fit that will grow with her for a few years.

Love this bag!
I had to get a mini backpack for our family trip to Disney, Jan 2022 and I knew I wanted a bag that I would want to use consistently.
What I intended to be a practical, tough bag ended up getting lots of attention & compliments from men & women.
I use it every day, still!
My straps are getting pretty worn out, so idk if that's something that's under warranty? Otherwise, highly recommend.
